Velojet has a new album, wich is called "Heavy Gold And The Great Return Of The Stereo Chorus". The song "Pass It Back" landed right in the first week at No. 1 of the Austrian Indie Charts. But the combo, around frontman Rene Mühlberger, is still an insider tip.
Velojet produce good indie-guitar pop since 2005, so is the new album but with a little touch of melancholy."Pass It Back", "I Woke Up", "Heavy Gold", "A Hole Under Your Feet" and "Give Up The Ghost" are the flagship of their current output.In sum, the Quartet from Steyr in Austria, which was already support act for The Killers, Coldplay, and Kettcar could inspire in the past and created with his third album a very melodic and melancholic indie-pop album, I liked very much.
Maybe the new album will help for a breakthrough outside of Austria?
