Always worth a visit is the cafe Phil in the Gumpendorferstraße 10-12 in the 6th district of Vienna.The Phil is a mix of book&vinyl-secondhand furniture shop, cafe and bar, that attracts a colorful, young audience.
The motto: Enjoy your drink and a good book in trendy atmosphere, while listening to the life dj, and if you like the chair ure sitting on or the lamp, or table you can buy it! The furniture is mostly from the 50s and 60s and therefore a little pricey. But the Phil is an ideal space for relaxing, meeting friends and reading the latest books and journals for free.
