One of the best places in vienna to start a night of partying is the Elektro Gönner, located on Mariahilferstrasse 101 in the 6th district of Vienna. Elektro Gönner is a former electrical shop and now a minimalist bar with excellent music. I think it's more a weekday spot,with a casual and non-trendy athmosphere and a young individual crowd. They always have a daily DJ line up playing a sound cocktail of drum ‘n’ bass, techno and electro. There are also monthly parties, like the techno parties Elektroland or Superdisko.
