The famous Carré from Hermès

The Hermès carré, a hand-painted silk scarf, is ideal for Hermès beginners or collectors and relatively affordable for the Christmas wish list. Actually it is always in fashion, but currently they do have a big revival. After the 2008 project "I love my scarf" was launched on the internet, where cool people showed their individually carré styles, the carré is slowly but surely entering Austria.I think it is perfect for all casual, indie outfits and the most elegant way to protect yourself from a sore throat in wintertimes. The good thing of the typical patterns of Hermès is, that it's also very easy to get similar ones at the flea market to join the trend.
Or you're lucky, like me, and find an original in grandmother's wardrobe (even with the typical Hermès orange).
