vernissage season has started again..

             



After a few weeks absence due vacation and work, I am happy to be back on my blog!
In Vienna is still all the same - who is suprised?
But the vernissage - season has started again and all art fans and alcoholics should be glad.  
This youtube video shows me why I will always be set in a taxi after an vernissage but also why I became an art fan.

CLUB 69

Tonight starts a new party in Vienna:
Club 69 on Badeschiff Vienna (Schwedenplatz / Danube Canal).
"Chacun à son goût, " the Club 69 is for all girls, boys or both? ;)
 
On the program are live drag performances and DJs...
Special Guests: Francesco Cardeloni, Sabrina Andersrum, DJ Mic and DJ Andi J'aime Julien.
So this Thursday is officially the "Drag-Thursday" -
So put on your best drag queen outfit and get a reduced admission price of € 5, otherwise € 8.

copy_paste: Ursula Stressned

The new youtube and facebook-hit Ursula Stressned by copy_paste is a tribute to the Viennese night life... 

Party in Vienna until the morning hours? No problem! Except in the first district. District Chairwoman Ursula Stenzl has a curfew by 4 clock for the 1st district, which affects especially the famous club flex. But copy_paste, ogris debris, christopher just  and co protested now:  
They covered the summerhit from ducksauze "Barbra Streisand". One to one, the video was reshot with well known Viennese people like Mel Merio, Edgar Retro and Tamara Mascara. The refrain, Ursula stress net ( Ursula, do not stress us) and the massage that Vienna is a party city, even after 4 clock!

Valentine's Day @ Flex

Valentine's Day, single and no romantic date promising?
Then hit the disco: we love to love, we love to party!
This Monday is a special line-up at Edgar Retros "so messed up" in the Flex:  
Jet Set Starlet Mel Merio will be live on stage with some of her latest masterpieces, supported by the glamorous Tamara Mascara with a Valentine's day burlesque show!
G. Rizo and SM84 supported by Edgar Retro will make sure that we don't wanna leave the dancefloor until 4 o'clock. 
So blow no trouble and be @ the Flex (on the Donaukanal) from 11pm on. Admission: 5 €

futuregarden

Mostley artists, curators and students from the art academies meet at futuregarden in the Schadekgasse 6 in the 6th district of Vienna. Owned by and adjacent to the Galerie Amer Abbas, the Futuregarden’s guests spill over during events to the gallery next door and vice versa.

The space is bare and minimally furnished but with a lot of photos, painting and media art. And on weekends famous local dj's will bring you in dancing mood with a mix out of old school techno, disco, hip hop and rock
